Guest Services Rep
About The Position
Join the team as a day shift, full-time Guest Services Rep in Tyler, Texas. The Patient / Visitor Screener provides hospital access screening with excellent customer service. The role screens employees, visitors, patients, and vendors entering the facility; asks screening questions; accurately obtains temperatures; and provides appropriate PPE. The position may also involve safely transporting patients by wheelchair. UT Health Tyler is the system’s flagship hospital, serving hundreds of thousands of people annually. It specializes in advanced acute care medicine and has a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU. Its medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with the Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Database and word processing skills.
