About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate, you welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their stay, from registration to checkout. You share information about the resort and nearby attractions, provide room-rate quotes, and reserve and confirm reservations. You also handle guest transactions and cashiering tasks, ensure guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits, and respond promptly and completely to guest inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the registration process.
Issue unit keys and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and carry out other cashiering and money-handling responsibilities.
Complete checkout procedures and verify that guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits.
Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
Provide room-rate quotes.
Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
