About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate, you welcome guests and provide service that helps make their vacations memorable, from registration through checkout. You share information about the resort and nearby attractions, provide room rate quotes, and reserve and confirm reservations. The role is described as full-time, second shift, at $18.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them through registration.
• Issue unit keys and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashier and money-handling responsibilities.
• Complete guest check-out procedures and verify that charges and credits are correctly reflected in guest folios.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and thoroughly.
