About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate, you welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout their stay, from registration through checkout. You share information about the resort and nearby attractions, provide room-rate quotes, and reserve and confirm individual or group reservations. You also handle guest payments and cashiering duties, ensure guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits, and respond to inquiries and concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them through registration.
• Issue unit keys and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashiering and money-handling duties.
• Complete checkout procedures and verify that guest folios show the correct charges and credits.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide room-rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
