About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate at Sapphire Valley Resort, you help make guests’ vacations memorable from registration through checkout. You provide a warm welcome, guide guests through resort registration, share information about the resort and nearby attractions, provide room-rate quotes, and reserve and confirm reservations. You also handle guest transactions and cashiering duties, complete checkout procedures, and respond promptly and thoroughly to guest questions and concerns.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly service.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashiering and money-handling duties.
• Complete checkout procedures and verify charges and credits in guest folios.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide room-rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
