Guest Service Attendant
About The Position
Harrison Meadows Country Club in Harrison, New York, is hiring a part-time, seasonal Guest Service Attendant for a position lasting six months or less. The attendant supports multiple departments within golf operations, with day-to-day duties varying according to business needs. The role involves helping create a positive experience for members and guests in a fun, fast-paced environment while developing knowledge of golf club operations. The position pays $17.00–$18.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required. Medical benefits may be available based on ACA measurement, and eligible employees aged 19 or older may participate in a 401(k) plan with employer match. Benefit eligibility and terms are subject to applicable plan documents and company policies.
Requirements
- Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties and communicate with English-speaking customers or coworkers.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Education and experience: less than a high school education, or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean golf carts for play according to Harrison Meadows Country Club standards.
- Maintain the driving range and chipping green presentation, manage range ball inventory, and pick up and clean range balls.
- Keep the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area neat and orderly.
- Provide courteous guest service, including handling bags and cleaning clubs.
- Keep the cart storage and washdown areas neat, clean, and orderly.
- When needed, assist in directing the start of play and inform players about course policies, cart policies, pace of play, and related guidelines.
- Clean golfers’ clubs after play.
- Complete the daily project list.
- Assist with the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
- Assist customers renting golf clubs, clean returned rental clubs, and maintain accurate rental records.
- Assist with upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
- Assist with food and beverage activities.
- Use safe work practices and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as required.
