About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant thoroughly cleans and services guest rooms to provide guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment. Duties include making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, restocking guest amenities, and reporting maintenance needs while meeting MGM Resorts' quality standards.

Requirements

• Three months of related housekeeping experience, or exposure to the hospitality industry and training from the Culinary Training Center.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to communicate in English as a primary or secondary language.
• Experience in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean guestrooms thoroughly, including making beds, vacuuming, emptying trash, and dusting or wiping surfaces.
• Restock guest amenities and information folders.
• Sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors, using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Replace guest amenities, including soaps, tissues, and ashtrays.
• Arrange fresh bathmats on tubs or shower doors and place clean towels neatly on racks.
• Identify and report unusual room conditions or maintenance needs.
• Perform tasks according to the designated room classification checklist and quality standards.
