About The Position

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Guest Relations Coordinator to join its Rooms Division team and contribute to guest-focused service at a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The role involves ensuring the proper and efficient operation of Guest Relations responsibilities, following Peninsula and Forbes standards, communicating across departments to support a guest-centric experience, complying with Head Office database requirements, and providing effective handovers.

Requirements

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to handle high work demands and pressure.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of front desk experience in a luxury property is ideal.
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera.
• Some knowledge of the Housekeeping department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of all Guest Relations responsibilities.
• Know and adhere fully to Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistent performance in accordance with Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest-centric experience.
• Comply fully with Head Office database requirements.
• Ensure efficient operation of Guest Relations responsibilities and provide efficient handovers.
