About The Position

Excel at Woodbury for Rehabilitation and Nursing is hiring a full-time Guest Relations Associate to join its team in Nassau County. The role welcomes patients upon admission, handles phone calls, and provides reception-desk coverage as needed. The associate is expected to maintain a positive, professional, attentive, and encouraging manner; anticipate and take ownership of patients’ needs; protect patient rights and confidentiality; foster respectful working relationships; and distribute and refresh patients’ water pitchers throughout the day. The position offers a Monday–Friday shift from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and pays $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be able to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Must be approachable and friendly.
• Must be comfortable answering phones.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon admission and help them feel welcome.
• Answer phone calls.
• Work at the reception desk as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor and be attentive to patients’ needs.
• Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to patients’ rights and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintain cooperative and respectful working relationships and support staff in performing their duties.
• Distribute water pitchers to patients daily and refresh them throughout the day.
