About The Position

The Guest Experience Host - Retail works at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Arizona store at Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe, Arizona, delivering engaging retail experiences to LEGO fans in an interactive store environment. The role focuses on welcoming guests, providing friendly and professional service, processing transactions, maintaining store presentation and cleanliness, and supporting stockroom operations. The position is part-time, with availability for up to 25 hours per week across at least three days, including at least one weekend day; being scheduled for 25 hours is not required.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Work various hours, days, nights and weekends as business needs determine.
• Freely access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas and loading dock area.
• Be able to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab and stand for at least two consecutive hours; the role may occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders.
• Have close vision and depth perception and be able to adjust focus.
• Be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
• Provide availability for up to 25 hours per week, spanning at least three days and including at least one weekend day; being scheduled for 25 hours is not required.

Responsibilities

• Exceed guests’ expectations through fun and meaningful interactions.
• Greet every guest and provide a professional, gracious, friendly and engaging experience.
• Perform all cash register functions and process merchandise through the register system.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain store displays and a clean, safe, visually stimulating environment.
• Learn and deliver LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and safely and efficiently operate and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
• Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
