About The Position

The Guest Experience Ambassador provides residents, colleagues, and guests with an exemplary, best-in-class dining experience. Reporting to the Director of Dining Services, this role delivers food and beverage service, communicates menu options, supports scheduled meal periods, and helps maintain clean, stocked service areas. The role may also support culinary staff and perform other assigned duties. The position is based in Pompano Beach, Florida, and is full-time, with an hourly pay rate of $17.00–$18.50, paid weekly by direct deposit. Selected candidates must undergo a Level 2 background check through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (HB531).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous food service experience.
Previous customer service experience.
Must undergo a Level 2 background check: HB531 through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

Responsibilities

Provide hospitable service to residents, colleagues, and guests.
Lead food and beverage service and prepare or serve specialty diets and dishes as required.
Engage with residents to take orders and clearly explain daily menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Ensure residents are satisfied with service and communicate customer service issues to the direct supervisor.
Assist with setup and breakdown for scheduled meal periods.
Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
Perform assigned cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, tidying service stations, clearing tables, and taking out trash.
May wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment.
May support culinary staff at various stations as directed.
Provide attentive, approachable customer service, including greeting and thanking customers.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
