About The Position

The Guest Experience Ambassador provides residents, colleagues, and guests with an exemplary dining experience. Reporting to the Director of Dining Services, this role serves food and beverages, helps residents select menu items, and supports meal-period setup, cleanup, and service-area stocking. The position is based in Goshen, Indiana, with a scheduled shift of 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and an hourly pay rate of $14.00–$16.00.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in food service.
Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Promote a spirit of hospitality in dealings with residents, colleagues, and guests.
Lead food and beverage service for residents and prepare or serve specialty diets and dishes as required.
Engage with residents to obtain their food and beverage orders and explain daily menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Ensure residents are satisfied with all aspects of service and communicate customer-service issues to the direct supervisor.
Check residents’ dietary requirements, likes, and dislikes to ensure they are accommodated.
Assist with setup and breakdown for scheduled meal periods.
Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
Perform assigned cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, tidying service stations, clearing tables, and taking out trash.
Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment as needed.
Assist culinary staff at various stations as directed.
Provide attentive and approachable customer service, including greeting and thanking customers.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
