Big Guest Experience Ambassador
About The Position
Big SNOW is North America's first and only real-snow, indoor, year-round ski and snowboard resort. The Guest Experience Ambassador helps provide guests with an unforgettable resort experience through customer service, pass encoding, outfitting, and the rental process. The role supports guest retail and facility entry, equipment and boot fitting, and a positive overall guest experience while sharing information about resort products and services. Team members contribute to a safe and welcoming environment by advocating for guest needs, following safety procedures, and working collaboratively to support guest loyalty and mutual respect. The position is located at Big SNOW in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and pays $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Positive attitude and commitment to great service.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to tolerate constant cold conditions of 28 degrees.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Prior customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide guests with accurate and reliable information.
- Assist with guest retail, facility entry, outfitting, boot fitting, rental equipment, and the overall guest experience.
- Promote and educate guests about product offerings throughout the guest trail.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a Blazer/Guide.
- Acknowledge and advocate for guest needs related to their Big SNOW experience.
- Enforce and follow safety procedures for team members and guests.
- Scan online ticket purchases and encode media for access to rentals, tickets, and other services.
- Validate entry and cards at entry points and the lift base.
- Support teamwork, a positive team member experience, guest loyalty, mutual respect, and continuous improvement.
