About The Position

Datadog is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its growing GTM Strategy & Operations team as product owner for GTM data products and sales productivity tools. The role owns the roadmap, delivery, and adoption of products used by Sales and Customer Success, including internally built products and third-party solutions. Decisions should balance speed, cost, scalability, and long-term maintainability, with a strong understanding of field-team workflows and the ability to turn business needs into product and build-versus-buy decisions that support Datadog’s growth. The Senior Associate leads product strategy and lifecycle management, establishes operating practices across the product portfolio, evaluates and scales AI-enabled capabilities, and measures product impact. The role partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, GTM Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Sales Enablement to uncover workflow needs, integrate products with Salesforce and the broader GTM stack, and drive launches, adoption, governance, and data quality.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in GTM Strategy & Operations, data or analytics roles, product management, or management consulting; SaaS or high-growth B2B technology experience is ideal.
  • Ability to manage a product from problem definition through requirements, prioritization, launch, and iteration, including writing PRDs and user stories, making scope tradeoffs, and communicating investment decisions to technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience evaluating in-house development versus third-party solutions based on cost, speed, scalability, and strategic fit, and making clear recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of GTM data, including contacts, accounts, intent, and enrichment signals; ability to define data quality standards.
  • Comfort with SQL and working with data warehouses and BI tools to analyze usage and outcomes.
  • Strong interest in exploring, launching, and scaling GTM AI technologies, including practical experience prototyping or deploying AI-enabled workflows.
  • Track record of partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Data teams to identify pain points and deliver solutions through rollout.
  • Ability to define product metrics, measure adoption and ROI, and communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce CRM and integration of data products and sales tools with the broader GTM technology stack.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and drives projects to completion without heavy oversight.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company managing a GTM or sales-tool portfolio or internal data product.
  • Keeps current with AI developments, experiments with AI, has integrated AI into professional workflows, and builds prototypes with AI.
  • Working knowledge of APIs and how sales tools connect to CRM systems and data infrastructure; experience shipping a prototype or internal tool.
  • Hands-on familiarity with B2B sales technology, including contact intelligence tools such as ZoomInfo or Cognism, outbound sequencing tools such as Groove, Salesloft, or Outreach, and data enrichment tools such as Clay, Clearbit, or Crunchbase.
  • Familiarity with adjacent tools such as buyer intent platforms (e.g., Bombora or G2) or conversation intelligence tools (e.g., Gong).
  • Experience supporting tool adoption across Sales Development, Account Executive, and Customer Success teams.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy, and prioritized roadmap for GTM data products and sales productivity tools, balancing field needs, business impact, technical feasibility, cost, and maintainability.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of in-house tools, including requirements, user stories, MVPs, acceptance criteria, backlogs, delivery, iteration, and sunset decisions.
  • Establish consistent processes for intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, product ownership, release readiness, feedback collection, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead structured build-versus-buy evaluations of third-party tools and in-house alternatives, develop business cases, and present investment recommendations to GTM leadership.
  • Identify, evaluate, prototype, and scale AI capabilities for prospecting, enrichment, personalization, and Sales and Customer Success workflows; help define the AI roadmap.
  • Define and track success metrics such as adoption, data quality, time saved, and pipeline influenced, and use findings to guide investment, consolidation, or retirement decisions.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify workflow pain points through interviews, observation, usage analysis, and feedback, then translate findings into productivity-improving product changes.
  • Own release planning, change management, and onboarding in collaboration with Sales Enablement.
  • Work with GTM Systems to maintain and improve integrations between tools, Salesforce CRM, the wider GTM technology stack, and data infrastructure.
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, acceptable-use policies, and data hygiene standards across managed tools and data products.
