GTM Engineering Lead

ReadyOn•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

ReadyOn.AI is hiring a GTM Engineering Lead to build and run the automated engine that turns account signals into first meetings with large frontline employers. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role owns the systems behind outbound and inbound programs, including identifying account-ready signals, enrichment and messaging, and handoffs that place qualified meetings on sellers’ calendars. The role works daily with Marketing and closely with Sales, RevOps, and Security, using HubSpot as the system of record and AI throughout the process. The role also codifies successful plays into runbooks, templates, and prompts so the team can scale them. Initially, the focus is on building and operating signal-to-meeting workflows, enrichment and messaging, campaigns, deliverability, routing, CRM hygiene, and campaign analysis. As the role grows, it may encompass end-to-end GTM architecture, signal strategy, agent development, pipeline ownership, team leadership, and quarterly GTM planning.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in GTM engineering, growth, marketing operations, or revenue operations at high-growth B2B software companies.
  • Hands-on experience building signal-to-sequence systems using tools such as Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, HubSpot, and n8n, with work that can be discussed.
  • Daily use of large language models and agents, including Claude, Clay AI steps, and connected tools, with examples of work built using them.
  • Comfort with enrichment, data modeling, and deduplication.
  • Knowledge of healthy email sending practices, including email verification, suppression, and opt-outs.
  • Experience supporting long-cycle enterprise sales with buying committees and multiple personas per account.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL or advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong interest in or previous experience with labor operations or workforce management.
  • Experience co-owning a CRM with Sales, including HubSpot administration and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Build feeds for relevant frontline-employer signals, score them, and route the strongest signals into end-to-end plays.
  • Manage account, contact, and persona data in Clay and generate personalized messages using Marketing’s core messaging with Claude and Clay.
  • Launch one-touch, multi-touch, and nurture campaigns across email and LinkedIn using tools such as Apollo, HeyReach, and HubSpot.
  • Build webinar and inbound programs, including site tracking, form routing, and follow-up sequences for attendees, no-shows, and demo sign-ups.
  • Manage deliverability, including sending domains, mailboxes, warmup, verification, and automated checks to prevent sends to the wrong people.
  • Build routing, suppression, and handoff workflows so positive replies reach the appropriate owner the same day with a task and alert; remove contacts from sequences after they reply or book.
  • Maintain HubSpot campaign lists, tags, fields, data quality, and deal-field automation under shared naming rules.
  • Partner with RevOps on changes to fields, workflows, and syncs, and assist with administration and reporting as needed.
  • Review campaign-level results with Sales to determine which plays and signals to scale or retire.
  • Automate research, list building, and first touches previously handled manually by BDRs.
  • Build research and campaign-analysis agents using ReadyOn data within security rules, and document plays, templates, prompts, and sequences in runbooks.
  • As the role grows, own end-to-end GTM architecture and establish the data model with RevOps.
  • Test, add, and retire signal sources based on their ability to predict meetings.
  • Develop agents that run plays end to end with evaluation and security-approved guardrails.
  • Own qualified pipeline generated by the engine and run experiments that inform the plan.
  • As the team grows, manage contractors, develop a small GTM engineering team, and partner with a RevOps leader.
  • Set the quarterly GTM plan with Marketing and Sales and establish additional motions, such as a new vertical or partner channel.
