GTM Engineering Lead

ReadyOn•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

ReadyOn.AI is hiring a GTM Engineering Lead to build and operate the automated engine that turns account signals into first meetings with large frontline employers. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role owns the systems behind outbound and inbound motions, including identifying account-readiness signals, enriching data, personalizing messaging, launching campaigns, and handing qualified meetings to Sales. The role works daily with Marketing and closely with Sales, RevOps, and Security. HubSpot is the system of record, and AI is used throughout the process. The lead will also document successful plays in runbooks, templates, and prompts so the team can scale them consistently. The position can grow to include ownership of end-to-end GTM architecture and data models, testing and selecting predictive signals, developing agents with security-approved evaluation and guardrails, owning qualified pipeline outcomes, leading contractors and a small GTM engineering team, and helping set quarterly plans and new go-to-market motions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in GTM engineering, growth, marketing operations, or revenue operations at high-growth B2B software companies.
  • Hands-on experience building signal-to-sequence systems with tools such as Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, HubSpot, and n8n, with the ability to explain the work completed.
  • Daily practical use of large language models and agents, including Claude, Clay AI steps, and connected tools, with examples of work built.
  • Comfort with enrichment, data modeling, and deduplication.
  • Knowledge of email verification, suppression, opt-outs, and maintaining healthy sending practices.
  • Experience supporting long-cycle enterprise sales with buying committees and multiple personas per account.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL or advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong interest in or prior experience with labor operations or workforce management.
  • Experience co-owning a CRM with Sales, including HubSpot administration and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Build standing feeds for relevant frontline-employer signals, score them, and route the strongest signals into end-to-end plays.
  • Manage account, contact, and persona data in Clay and generate personalized messages using Marketing’s core messaging with Claude and Clay.
  • Launch one-touch, multi-touch, and nurture campaigns across email and LinkedIn using tools such as Apollo, HeyReach, and HubSpot.
  • Build webinar and inbound programs, including site tracking, form routing, and attendee, no-show, and demo sign-up sequences.
  • Own email deliverability, including sending domains, mailboxes, warmup, verification, and automated checks to prevent misdirected sends.
  • Build routing, suppression, and handoff workflows so positive replies reach the right owner the same day with a task and alert; remove contacts from sequences after they reply or book.
  • Maintain trustworthy HubSpot campaign lists, tags, fields, data, and deal fields through automation, following shared naming rules.
  • Partner with RevOps on field, workflow, and sync changes, and support administration and reporting when needed.
  • Review campaign results with Sales to decide which plays and signals to scale or retire.
  • Automate research, list building, and first touches previously performed manually by BDRs.
  • Build research and campaign-analysis agents using ReadyOn data within security rules.
  • Document plays, templates, prompts, and sequences in runbooks.
  • As the role grows, own GTM architecture and data modeling with RevOps; test signal sources; develop agents with evaluation and guardrails; own qualified-pipeline outcomes; manage contractors and grow a small team; and help set quarterly plans and new motions.
