GTM Engineer

JustPark•Dallas, TX

About The Position

The GTM Engineer is a builder within JustPark’s commercial organization, reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations. The role designs, builds, and evaluates internal agentic workflows and agents that reduce repetitive work across the commercial team, keeping a person in the loop. It also owns the architecture of the marketing and sales systems and the integrations used by Business Development, Account Executives, Account Management, and North American Marketing. The role works closely with the data team, which owns the company data layer, and brings commercial requirements to that team while building commercial capabilities on top of the layer they provide. There is no preset roadmap or selected vendor. The engineer works with the VP to set direction, identifies workflows by observing how commercial teams work, and tests solutions before scaling them. The role is remote within the US and includes regular travel to the Dallas–Fort Worth hub. Success is measured by shipping useful solutions: by day 30, observing representatives across commercial roles, mapping the stack, meeting the data team, and agreeing on prioritized automation opportunities with the VP; by day 60, launching the first agentic workflow and resolving or scheduling fixes for major system and integration issues; and by day 90, having agents in production and used daily with evaluation and monitoring, demonstrating time saved, establishing trusted commercial reporting, and setting a sequenced plan for future work.

Requirements

  • Be based in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and be able to travel regularly to the Dallas–Fort Worth hub.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in GTM engineering, revenue operations engineering, marketing operations, or sales systems in a role involving building rather than only configuring.
  • Be comfortable writing code and using low-code tools, and able to select the appropriate approach for a problem.
  • Have experience with Python or TypeScript and APIs, and with tools such as Clay, n8n, Zapier, or Workato.
  • Have hands-on experience building with LLMs and agent tooling, including prompting, retrieval, tool use, and evaluation, and understand their limitations.
  • Have deep working knowledge of Salesforce, including its data model, automation, and integration patterns.
  • Have experience architecting a marketing automation platform and its CRM integration.
  • Have strong data fundamentals, including SQL and a practical understanding of data modelling.
  • Be able to translate between commercial and technical problems and decline requests that would create more problems than they solve.
  • Be a clear writer and document work so it can be maintained beyond the builder’s direct involvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building internal agents or automation adopted by a sales team.
  • Experience consolidating systems after a merger.
  • Exposure to events, hospitality, commercial real estate, municipal government, parking, or venue technology.

Responsibilities

  • Identify commercial workflows where agents or automation can save time, based on observing how the team works.
  • Design and build internal agentic workflows end to end, defining which tasks run autonomously and which are drafted for human review.
  • Evaluate and monitor shipped workflows for accuracy, adoption, and time saved, and detect when performance degrades.
  • Keep current with agent and automation tools without frequently rebuilding the stack.
  • Own the architecture of the commercial technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, call intelligence, enrichment, engagement tooling, and their integrations.
  • Own lifecycle and routing logic, including how leads become accounts, reach the right representative, and are handled when routing fails.
  • Partner with the Salesforce administrator, who handles configuration and user requests, while owning architecture and build work.
  • Make build-versus-buy decisions for new tooling.
  • Bring commercial requirements to the data team and shape the commercial needs for the data layer owned by that team.
  • Build enrichment, scoring, and signal detection on top of the data team’s work to support BDR and AE processes.
  • Improve the trustworthiness of commercial reporting, including attribution, funnel conversion, activity, and pipeline metrics.
  • Observe BDRs, AEs, Account Managers, and Marketing to understand their workflows before automating them.
  • Partner with Revenue Enablement so shipped tools are accompanied by training.
