  • A strong track record of building, sourcing, enriching, and maintaining large volumes of high-quality B2B prospect data.
  • Expert-level knowledge of lead generation and data enrichment tools, prospecting platforms, and data verification processes.
  • Strong understanding of what makes a lead actionable and how data quality affects sales productivity and pipeline generation.
  • Experience building repeatable processes, workflows, and automations to support sales teams at scale.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to identify data issues and prevent recurrence.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach to finding and improving prospect data.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize competing requests, and deliver results in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to partner closely with Sales leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a field service management software company, vertical SaaS business, or technology company serving the trades.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or other home and commercial service businesses.
  • Experience building prospect databases for SMB or mid-market sales organizations.
  • Experience with sales intelligence, contact enrichment, email verification, CRM data management, and sales engagement platforms.
  • Experience using APIs, SQL, no-code automation tools, or AI-powered workflows to streamline data operations.
  • Experience supporting a high-volume outbound sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lead generation engine and provide a consistent supply of high-quality leads across target markets.
  • Build and maintain target account cohorts by geography, trade, business profile, and sales priority in collaboration with Sales leadership.
  • Develop and test an ideal customer profile and scoring approach using available business and market signals, and validate it against customers and sales outcomes.
  • Combine internal records, data providers, public sources, and research partners to identify businesses not yet reached by FieldPulse; match new accounts to existing CRM records before adding them.
  • Source decision-makers for priority accounts and deliver sales-ready account and contact records with clear targeting context.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop outbound campaigns from target cohorts and use feedback and conversion results to improve future cohorts.
  • Set standards for the fields required to make accounts actionable, including trade, location, services, segment, contact role, source, and confidence in key attributes.
  • Establish repeatable checks for duplicates, account-to-contact mismatches, stale contact details, inconsistent industry values, and records outside the target market.
  • Distinguish verified facts from estimates or inferred signals and track data source and freshness.
  • Build quality controls into imports, enrichment, and ongoing data updates.
  • Measure target-market coverage, account match rates, contact coverage and verification, field completeness, and rep-reported data issues by source and segment.
  • Review data quality alongside sales results to identify factors limiting outbound effectiveness.
  • Own workflows connecting prospect sourcing, enrichment, validation, scoring, and activation across sales systems.
  • Evaluate and manage data providers and research partners based on coverage, accuracy, fields, integration effort, cost, and sales impact.
  • Automate repeatable research, verification, imports, and quality checks while retaining human review for uncertain matches and high-priority accounts.
  • Pilot tools and scoring workflows on defined cohorts, compare results with current methods, and document what to scale, change, or stop.
  • Work with Sales leadership, Sales operations, and account executives to align lead generation with revenue goals.
  • Develop visibility into lead generation volume, data quality, coverage, and effectiveness.
  • Use Sales data and feedback to identify prospect coverage gaps and improve targeting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, availability, and usability of sales data.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for lead data and prospecting operations.
