GTM Data Analyst

Netic•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Netic is hiring its first dedicated go-to-market data analyst to take end-to-end ownership of account and contact data. The role combines analytical work with operational ownership: defining data standards, building models and quality checks, and improving the processes that generate and maintain data. The resulting foundation will support territory planning, lead routing, forecasting, and commissions. The analyst will develop a total addressable market model covering home services businesses by trade, geography, and location count; maintain enrichment workflows and data-quality reporting; and analyze GTM performance and coverage. The role will also partner with the Sales Systems engineer to automate recurring cleanup and validation. In the first year, success means establishing documented account, contact, and hierarchy standards; delivering a TAM model used for territory planning and account prioritization; tracking data-quality metrics weekly while reducing duplicate rates and field gaps; and automating recurring cleanup.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, marketing operations, or data analytics at a B2B company.
  • Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; ability to build models or analyses from raw, messy data.
  • Hands-on Salesforce data experience, such as Data Loader, Workbench, or a deduplication tool, and a solid grasp of the Salesforce object model.
  • Detail-oriented approach, including noticing data anomalies and investigating their root causes.
  • Ability to take ownership of defining standards and document processes so they remain useful beyond the role holder.

Nice To Haves

  • Python.
  • Experience with ZoomInfo, Clay, Apollo, LeanData, Cloudingo, or DemandTools.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Hex, or data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants to automate data work.

Responsibilities

  • Define account, contact, and hierarchy standards, including parent companies, multi-location operators, and PE-backed roll-ups; specify required fields and record creation, matching, and merging rules.
  • Build and maintain a total addressable market model of home services businesses by trade, geography, and location count, score businesses, and keep the model synchronized with Salesforce.
  • Design and run enrichment workflows to keep firmographic data and decision-maker contacts current, and measure each data source's coverage and accuracy.
  • Define data-quality metrics, including duplicate rate, field completeness, and match rate, and build dashboards and alerts to catch data issues before they affect forecasts or commission statements.
  • Maintain data used for territory assignments and lead routing, and provide Sales Ops with evidence to resolve ownership disputes.
  • Analyze GTM questions, including which segments convert, where coverage is thin, and which accounts are missing.
  • Work with the Sales Systems engineer to automate recurring data cleanup and validation.
  • Document and establish data standards that teams can consistently follow.
