About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a General Supply Chain Subcontract Administrator for a position in Arlington, TX to support the THAAD program. This role involves developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts supporting development, production, and global sustainment across multiple contract types. The position requires working on-site 2-3 days per week and necessitates a government security clearance, requiring US citizenship.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in Business, Finance, Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong internal customer and supplier relationships.
  • Detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify risk elements in business transactions, think analytically, and provide effective guidance towards resolving contractual issues
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Responsibilities

  • Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts.
  • Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
  • Works with suppliers to ensure that parts are delivered to PO contract dates.
  • Develops mitigation plans as needed to ensure build need dates are met.
  • May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
