About The Position

Texas Sports Academy is seeking a Growth Marketing Engineer to lead its paid acquisition programs. This role will leverage engineering and AI to execute marketing strategies, focusing on Facebook and Google Ads. The ideal candidate will have experience owning paid acquisition programs with significant budgets, building supporting systems and automations, and driving measurable improvements in key marketing metrics. This is a remote, full-time position based in the U.S.

Requirements

  • Used code, scripts, or automations to improve the performance of marketing programs, including work on landing pages, tracking, integrations, or workflow tooling. Can clearly describe what was built, why, and the results.
  • Personally managed Facebook Ads and Google Ads accounts, made daily decisions on spend and creative, and can speak to specific performance metrics improved.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4, Segment, HubSpot, Zapier, or Make.
  • Uses AI coding tools and large language models as a core part of workflow, understanding their value and integration.
  • Can independently pull data, build a dashboard, and reason clearly about attribution, cost per lead, and payback periods.
  • Comfortable being accountable for both technical execution and campaign outcomes, operating without needing someone else to define the plan.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct Response and Performance Marketing Background: Experience in direct-to-consumer, education, or another performance-driven category.
  • Video and Creative Skills: Ability to produce a short-form ad or brief a video editor effectively.
  • Sports or Education Background: Personal or professional experience in competitive athletics or K-12 education.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Facebook Ads and Google Ads programs end-to-end, including strategy, creative direction, audience development, budget allocation, testing, and performance reporting against cost per lead and cost per enrollment targets.
  • Design and implement marketing automations, integrations, and internal tools for lead routing, reporting, and CRM integrations.
  • Build tracking, dashboards, and data pipelines to measure performance across advertising, website, and the enrollment funnel.
  • Develop and iterate on landing pages, forms, and lead capture experiences for specific campaigns and audiences.
  • Utilize LLMs and AI development tools for code writing, ad creative refinement, performance data analysis, and automation of marketing tasks.
  • Report on pipeline, spend, and unit economics, providing recommendations for investment and spend reduction.
  • Apply code, scripts, or automations to enhance marketing program performance, including landing pages, tracking, integrations, or workflow tooling.
  • Independently manage Facebook Ads and Google Ads accounts, making daily decisions on spend and creative, and improving specific performance metrics.
