About The Position

Abode Money is hiring a Growth Intern to create short-form social content that makes property taxes entertaining and helps homeowners discover potential overpayments. The intern will operate the company’s TikTok and Instagram accounts with a creator’s approach, producing skits, AI-assisted edits, trend-based videos, and campaigns aimed at getting younger audiences to engage with their parents about home costs. The role is in person five days per week in Austin, or requires relocation to Austin, and is available for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Compensation is $25 per hour.

Requirements

• Be in Austin or be willing to relocate; work in person five days per week.
• Have created short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, or Reels; personal-account content counts.
• Be available for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Know online trends before they peak.
• Be funny, with posts to demonstrate it.
• Have creative taste and dislike corporate-style brand content.

Responsibilities

• Write and shoot skits, including characters, recurring bits, and street interviews.
• Create attention-grabbing edits using AI video, image, and voice tools, and turn podcast episodes and team moments into clips.
• Identify emerging sounds and formats and adapt them for Abode Money as trends break.
• Post 3 to 4 times daily on TikTok and Instagram, including campaigns designed to get Gen Z to engage their parents.
• Review performance metrics, stop pursuing content that performs poorly, and repeat approaches that perform well.
