About The Position

Melotech is seeking a Growth Associate intern to help drive organic reach across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The role focuses on identifying creators, communities, formats, and trends that can help the company’s products gain attention, then testing and scaling approaches based on performance. The intern will work directly with the founders, Growth Manager, and product and data team. The position involves building and managing creator networks, seeding products into relevant formats and communities, spotting trends, and running frequent low-cost experiments. Successful approaches are developed into repeatable playbooks. The Growth Associate also looks for new channels, collaborates with the Growth Manager to connect organic and paid growth, measures performance using appropriate metrics, and builds trackers, scripts, and automations using platform data and AI tools. Melotech describes the role as remote, with regular global offsites. It offers competitive salaries and equity. Hiring is rolling, and the earliest starting date is ASAP.

Requirements

Be a student or recent graduate.
Know TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts well and be able to explain why content performs.
Have hands-on experience growing an account, page, or side project, or supporting a startup or brand on social media.
Enjoy working with creators and have a feel for content that appears native to its platform.
Bring fresh ideas and test them in a structured way.
Be comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets.
Thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
Be pursuing or recently graduated with a degree from a top-tier university and have an outstanding academic record, demonstrated through grades, scholarships, or awards.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a creator or having run pages with a real following.
Knowledge of SQL, Python, or AI tools.

Responsibilities

Find, brief, and pay creators and social pages at scale, and maintain relationships with those that perform.
Seed products into formats and communities where they may gain reach, at appropriate times and volumes.
Identify emerging formats and memes and act on them quickly.
Run frequent, low-cost experiments using clear criteria for deciding what succeeds or is stopped.
Turn successful experiments into repeatable playbooks.
Identify new channels and communities where attention may be available at lower cost.
Coordinate with the Growth Manager to scale successful organic content through paid growth and use paid learnings to inform organic work.
Measure performance and select appropriate metrics, including saves, shares, views, and view cost.
Build trackers, scripts, and automations using platform data and AI tools.
