Growth Executive - Lafayette, Louisiana

Aspen Standard Wealth•Lafayette, LA

About The Position

Aspen Standard Wealth is hiring a Growth Executive to take full ownership of a founder-led wealth management partner firm and lead its next phase of growth. The role carries progressive operational accountability for day-to-day P&L management, people, growth, and execution, in close partnership with the founder and Aspen. The mandate is to double the business organically within three to five years, professionalize operations, and build a leadership structure that allows the founder to engage on their own terms. The position is described as based in the Pittsburgh area, although the posting title says Lafayette, Louisiana. The Growth Executive will preserve the firm's legacy, culture, and client relationships while establishing credibility and earning the trust of the founder and team. The role includes owning early conversion outcomes and building a repeatable growth engine, alongside developing strategic plans, budgets, operating rhythms, systems, and processes. The position calls for a hands-on leader who can drive measurable growth, make data-backed decisions, develop people, and operate effectively in a lean environment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in roles demonstrating knowledge of wealth management, asset management, private banking, insurance, or adjacent regulated services.
  • 8–18 years in elite and competitive environments, with a track record of taking on challenging roles and advancing.
  • At least 2 years leading teams, including hiring, performance management, and talent development, while remaining hands-on.
  • Personal ownership of a revenue number through deals, sales, cross-selling, or equivalent.
  • Experience leading trust-based sales motions such as client success, sourcing, pitching, advising, business development, or sales.
  • Demonstrated record of improving pipeline conversion rates and funnel performance.
  • Personally led projects that improved a growth engine, such as rebuilding a sales team, increasing conversion, introducing a product, or creating a cross-sell motion.
  • Ownership of a P&L or material portion of one, with direct accountability for revenue, costs, and outcomes.
  • Experience operating in lean, low-infrastructure environments without centralized corporate support.
  • Hands-on leadership that drives revenue through accountability and disciplined follow-through, while pursuing growth without damaging the team environment.
  • Ability to influence leadership and build alignment without formal authority; read dynamics in relationship-heavy firms and maintain trust while driving performance.
  • Ability to build leverage through systems and leaders, test assumptions, learn from feedback, and adjust course.
  • Ability to develop people's skills and judgment through feedback, opportunities, and support, and to maintain stability under pressure.
  • Cognitive flexibility, learning velocity, systems-level thinking, and ability to make analytical decisions tied to budgets and targets.

Responsibilities

  • Take progressive operational accountability for the partner firm's performance, including revenue growth, profitability, operating discipline, and talent, in partnership with the founder.
  • Earn the trust of the founder and team through decisive leadership and early execution, enabling a smooth transition of day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Preserve the firm's legacy, culture, and client relationships through leadership that reflects continuity and respect.
  • Deliver twofold organic growth within three to five years through share of wallet, pricing, marketing, referrals and centers of influence, technology, and new client acquisition.
  • Personally own conversion outcomes in year one and close or co-close live deals as needed.
  • Build, manage, and continually improve a repeatable growth engine with clear accountability.
  • Coach advisors to improve selling behaviors and pipeline performance.
  • Develop and own a one-page strategic plan and operating budget aligned with Aspen's underwriting assumptions and value-creation model.
  • Establish a weekly operating rhythm and pipeline reviews focused on strategic-plan goals, playbooks, and metrics.
  • Translate strategy into execution through clear priorities, KPIs, and a disciplined operating cadence.
  • Build scalable systems and processes that reduce reliance on individual heroics and distribute knowledge across the firm.
  • Make high-quality, data-backed decisions connected to budget lines and growth targets.
  • Keep the business on track to double revenue, assets under management, and EBITDA organically within five years.
