About The Position

Pennylane is hiring a Growth Engineer to help build scalable, flexible, and effective digital experiences as the company expands across Europe. The role is part of the Growth Engineering team, within the Marketing Website squad, and works closely with the Growth Engineering Team Lead. It focuses on creating fast, reliable, and seamless experiences that help entrepreneurs discover Pennylane and get started, with a strong emphasis on frontend engineering and contributions across the full stack. The role develops Pennylane’s public website and acquisition journeys using Vue.js and Nuxt.js, while also maintaining fullstack features with Ruby on Rails. It combines product engineering with growth experimentation: improving registration funnels, implementing A/B tests, supporting localization and multilingual experiences, and using data about user journeys and experiment results to inform improvements. The engineer also contributes to APIs, integrations, tracking, data quality, and the technical foundations of growth initiatives. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from technical design through production, write clean and well-tested code, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Growth, Marketing, and Data teams. Pennylane describes the role as an opportunity to influence how prospective customers discover and adopt its product, with autonomy to propose ideas, make technical decisions, and test improvements.
