About The Position

The Lox Groups Coordinator/Discipleship Admin (LGC) is responsible for executing the Groups strategy at the Loxahatchee campus. This includes launching new groups, coordinating various types of groups across the Discipleship pathway, and maintaining current groups. The LGC acts as the primary liaison for all small group leaders, providing training, mentoring, problem-solving, curriculum ordering, scheduling, and other necessary support. The LGC is present at all Sunday morning services to answer questions about groups and connect with individuals seeking to join a group. In their role as Discipleship Admin, this position will also provide administrative support to the multi-campus Discipleship ministry as needed. This is a full-time position.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Active participation in a COH small group required.
  • Working knowledge of databases and software systems required.

Nice To Haves

  • College education preferred.
  • CCB experience preferred.
  • Previous successful ministry, office, administrative, or managerial experience preferred.
  • Previous experience leading and scheduling teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Commit to a daily quiet time with God.
  • Participate in a Community of Hope small group regularly.
  • Set appropriate boundaries to protect character and integrity.
  • Develop personal evangelism opportunities.
  • Regularly check in with all Small Group Leaders (SGLs), creating a system for connection with more frequent touchpoints for new SGLs.
  • Develop coaches to assist with leader care and multiplication.
  • Maintain a presence at Sunday services to connect with SGLs, prospective leaders, and interested individuals.
  • Create and manage a small groups metrics dashboard with guidance from SLT and Associate Pastor of Discipleship.
  • Implement a semester-based small groups system.
  • Serve as the point person for collecting small group metrics from other campuses.
  • Plan and execute at least two small group leader trainings annually.
  • Identify and address areas of need, confusion, or growth opportunities for SGLs through regular conversations.
  • Host additional gatherings for SGL encouragement, connection, and development.
  • Facilitate and build teams for Alpha, Freedom, Men’s & Women’s Ministries, and other Discipleship Pathway elements.
  • Book all rooms in CCB and track/order required curriculum materials.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Lox campus facilities team and group leaders.
  • Follow up with groups regarding holidays and schedule changes.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of small group meeting spaces for care and cleanliness.
  • Oversee registration and preparation for Connections classes, Group Connect seasons, and the Baptism process.
  • Maintain CCB Database upkeep.
  • Perform other administrative tasks to support the Discipleship Ministry goals.
