Group Respite Weekend RN/LPN (PRN)
About The Position
As a Weekend Group Respite Assistant, you will provide personal care and supervision for children with special health care needs in a group setting. Services are provided at our Johnston Respite Center. This role is a great resume builder for those interested in social work, education, therapy, psychology, and nursing. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Those 18 and over must be willing to provide transportation as a ChildServe authorized driver, if required.
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check and car safety check.
- Must be able to provide a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and supervision for children with special health care needs in a group setting.
- Engage children in activities.
- Provide group services at the Johnston Respite Center.
