About The Position

Provide direct nursing care to residents, conduct health assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment. Candidates must hold a State of Iowa RN or LPN license. Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required. The role includes a pre-hire health assessment and 4-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- State of Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
- Assess residents’ health conditions, including taking vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document accurately, and monitor for side effects.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
- Follow healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
