About The Position

Join WesleyLife and help revolutionize the aging experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Provide nursing care to residents, assess their health, develop individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and coordinate care with the healthcare team. The role requires compliance with healthcare regulations and infection-control protocols. Applicants must hold an Iowa RN or LPN license. Long-term-care experience is preferred but not required. The pre-hire screening includes a health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.

Requirements

• Current State of Iowa RN or LPN license.

• Previous long-term-care (LTC) experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Assess residents' health conditions, including taking vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments; document accurately and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Follow healthcare regulations and infection-control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
