About The Position

This role is critical to a mission-driven organization focused on expanding access to services and developing effective supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Group Home Manager facilitates implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and performs administrative duties, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. The position supervises Caregivers while also providing direct support to individuals receiving services. Duties are divided among direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision. The manager also supports community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Valid driver's license with one year of history and no restrictions.
• Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and individuals served.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Assist individuals with daily activities, including meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care.
• Balance direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision duties.
• Accompany individuals on community outings or provide transportation to work and other activities.
