Group Home Manager
About The Position
The Group Home Manager facilitates implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and performs administrative duties, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. The role supervises Caregivers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Duties are divided among direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision. The manager supports individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. The role also promotes community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of related work experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
- Valid driver's license with one year of history and no restrictions.
- Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and individuals served.
- Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules.
Responsibilities
