About The Position

SavATree’s General Tree Care Team provides tree care services to maintain and preserve clients’ landscapes. The Groundsperson works outdoors on a crew, supporting pruning, tree removals, cable bracing, and other tree-care work. Team members safely operate equipment, complete assigned tasks, and provide excellent client service. The role involves visiting properties in the community and working with a team focused on quality and safety.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and working knowledge of their characteristics.
• Experience with tree-care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• CDL.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
