About The Position

As a member of SavATree’s General Tree Care team, the Groundsperson supports field operations by providing high-quality tree care services that preserve and enhance clients’ landscapes. The work includes collaborating with crew members on pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and other tree care tasks; safely operating chainsaws, rigging, and specialized equipment; applying climbing and pruning techniques; and providing client service across a variety of properties. The role involves hands-on outdoor work and learning safety protocols and industry best practices, with opportunities to develop expertise in arboriculture. Requirements

Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Desire to work outdoors and a passion for tree care.
Willingness to learn to climb trees without spurs, prune effectively, and identify native and introduced species.
Interest in mastering chainsaw operation and equipment handling.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
Physical stamina and ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
