About The Position

The Groundskeeping position at 3B DOZER SERVICE LLC maintains the grounds around a power generation facility, helping ensure the site is clean, safe, and visually appealing while supporting the proper functioning of facility-related equipment and systems. The role includes landscape and vegetation care, upkeep of sidewalks and other hardscaped areas, and safe operation and maintenance of power tools and equipment. The position collaborates with team members on facility maintenance and operational goals and follows safety protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining power tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance to support safe and efficient operation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of landscape management practices, including mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding, and mulching.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Maintain landscapes and vegetation by mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding, and mulching lawns.
Maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other hardscaped areas to support safety and accessibility.
Operate and maintain power tools and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and potentially larger equipment, safely and efficiently.
Monitor and report grounds or equipment issues that may affect facility operations.
Collaborate with team members to support the power plant's maintenance and operational goals.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
