About The Position

As a Grounds Technician at Froedtert South, you will maintain outdoor spaces to create a clean, safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees. The role includes maintaining lawns, landscaping, trees, shrubs, sidewalks, entrances, parking areas, and other exterior spaces; performing seasonal grounds maintenance and assisting with snow and ice removal. You will safely operate and maintain grounds equipment, tools, and supplies, report hazards and maintenance concerns, and support special projects and other facility needs as assigned. Pay is $17.75–$26.50 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or facilities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, landscaping, trees, shrubs, and other outdoor areas.
• Perform mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and seasonal grounds maintenance.
• Maintain sidewalks, entrances, parking areas, and exterior spaces.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Support special projects and other facility needs as assigned.
