About The Position

The Grounds Specialist maintains the physical aspects of the property, including grounds, common areas, and amenities. The role also assists the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager with general maintenance and repairs for the assigned property and facilities.

Requirements

• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, cleaning supplies, and other equipment needed for the role.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills across communication channels.
• Ability to lift tools, equipment, and other items weighing approximately 50 pounds.
• Ability to work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of general labor job experience preferred; multifamily experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property throughout the day and remove litter, debris, and pet droppings from areas including breezeways, pools, grounds, and common areas.
• Remove trash and recyclables from the office and maintain trash areas according to the agreed-upon schedule.
• Check and log pool levels daily and vacuum pools weekly.
• Clean and assist with upkeep of facilities by performing general labor duties.
• Clean and maintain grills, inspecting timers and knobs to ensure safety.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager with general maintenance and repairs at the assigned property and facilities.
