About The Position

We are looking for a dependable, hard-working Grocery Store Day Stocker to help keep the commissary stocked, organized, clean, and ready for customers. This is an active, hands-on position that includes grocery stocking, warehouse support, unloading trucks, and light custodial duties. If you enjoy staying busy, working as part of a team, and seeing what you accomplished at the end of your shift, this could be a great fit. This is a PART-TIME position and will not provide 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Must be available for day shifts and weekends
Must be willing and able to undergo a Department of Defense (DoD) background check for military installation access
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to remain at work until the assigned workload is completed
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of grocery stocking and manual labor

Nice To Haves

Grocery stocking experience and knowledge of stocker duties and responsibilities is preferred
Previous retail stocking, warehouse, grocery, or manual labor experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Stock and replenish grocery merchandise
Keep shelves and displays neat, organized, and properly stocked
Rotate and properly place merchandise
Unload trucks and assist with incoming deliveries
Move, organize, and stack pallets
Assist with warehouse duties as needed
Respond professionally to questions or concerns from commissary management and Quality Assurance Evaluators (QAE)
Clean spills, remove trash, and perform routine restroom checks
Perform other light custodial duties as needed
Bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and perform physical/manual labor throughout the shift
Assist with other commissary duties as needed
