About The Position

Kimberton Whole Foods in Douglassville is seeking a part-time Grocery Stocker & Cashier. The role is approximately 20 hours per week, requires Saturday availability, and includes a mix of opening and closing shifts. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. The position combines grocery department stocking and customer checkout duties. Team members receive and stock dry goods, ready-to-drink beverages, household items, and bulk products; help maintain accurate product signage; scan and bag customers’ groceries; and complete transactions efficiently. The role involves frequent movement, prolonged standing, lifting, and working in cold areas such as coolers and freezers.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to read product labels, distinguish colors, and use sense of smell for quality control, as well as communicate with customers and coworkers.
Ability to frequently lift, grip, and carry objects weighing up to 50–75 pounds, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
Ability to walk short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work while moving rather than sitting.
Ability to work in cold environments, including coolers, freezers, and back stock areas, and handle cold products for extended periods on a regular basis.
Saturday availability; schedule includes a mix of opening and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service.
Receive and stock dry goods, ready-to-drink beverages, household items, and bulk items.
Work with the Grocery Department Head to maintain accurate, up-to-date product signage throughout the department.
Accurately scan customers’ groceries and complete transactions efficiently.
Carefully and efficiently bag groceries.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Manager on Duty.
