About The Position

The Grocery Stocker provides excellent customer service, develops product knowledge, rotates and merchandises product, and helps control shrink while working safely. The role supports department quality assurance and day-to-day store operations, maintaining stock levels, inventory, and cleanliness on the selling floor and in the backroom. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements may vary by store location, and Niemann Foods Management may add to or change position requirements.

• Forklift/Power Industrial Truck training may be required; training is provided at store level.
• Ability to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting or moving weights up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior guest service and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Handle and rotate product properly.
• Promote and support established programs.
• Follow day-to-day operational procedures to maintain stock levels, inventory, and cleanliness on the selling floor and in the backroom.

• Follow safety policies and procedures and serve as a safety role model.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
