About The Position

The Grocery Stocker provides customer service and product knowledge while rotating and merchandising products and helping control shrink. The role includes maintaining stock levels, inventory, and cleanliness on the selling floor and in the backroom, performing quality assurance checks, promoting sales and established programs, and following operational and safety procedures. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. No education or prior experience is required. Forklift/Power Industrial Truck Training may be required and is provided at the store level.

Requirements

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Honesty, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high energy level.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• No education or experience is required.
• Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including standing, walking, handling products, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift/Power Industrial Truck Training may be required; training is provided at the store level.
