About The Position

The Grocery Stock Clerk keeps store shelves stocked, organized, and clean. The role includes unloading deliveries, rotating products, checking for expired items, and assisting customers to support a well-stocked and customer-friendly shopping experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or stocking experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

• Flexible schedule availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise.
• Rotate products using first in, first out (FIFO) to reduce waste.
• Check for and remove expired, damaged, or outdated items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas and the sales floor.
• Build and maintain product displays and promotional setups.
• Assist customers with locating products and answering basic questions.
• Return misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Notify management of inventory issues, shortages, or overstock.
