About The Position

Weavers Way is a not-for-profit, member-owned co-op guided by a People-Planet-Profit philosophy. The organization works to support the local community, local food vendors, employees, and sustainability. The Grocery Clerk works at the Germantown location and helps provide customers with a welcoming shopping experience while keeping products available, organized, and in good condition. This is a full-time position scheduled for 30–34 hours per week. Open availability is preferred. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, learn about their needs, and help them find products that fit their preferences.
Escort customers to products throughout the store, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service that creates a welcoming shopping experience.
Stock shelves and displays so products are attractive, organized, and readily available.
Maintain well-stocked shelves with fresh, high-quality products.
Ensure products are accurately labeled and priced.
Monitor inventory and order products as needed to maintain appropriate stock.
Rotate inventory, remove expired products, and identify items nearing expiration for promotional sale.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
Inspect merchandise and displays regularly to ensure product quality and prevent damage.
