About The Position

Patriot Foundry is hiring a Grind Room Associate in Franklin, New Hampshire to process in-progress castings from cleaning operations through shipment. The role uses foundry equipment to remove excess material and defects, clean castings, inspect them, and prepare finished pieces for shipment. The offered wage is $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience, with a bonus incentive contingent on objective performance metrics.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting loads of 30 pounds or more, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.
• Frequently lift loads of 30–50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Adaptability and keen attention to detail.
• U.S. citizenship or documented residency.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Remain cautious and alert while working.
• Show up consistently and on time, and maintain performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Use bandsaws, chop saws, and angle grinders to remove excess material.
• Remove flashing, burrs, and minor defects using belt grinders, angle grinders, and die grinders.
• Clean ground castings using shot-blast and tumble machines.
• Visually inspect castings and isolate defective pieces.
• Pack and palletize finished castings for shipment.
• Follow work instructions and report issues as they occur.
• Keep the work area and machines clean and in good working order.
