About The Position
Woodward Tahoe Baristas work at the Grind Café inside The Bunker. They prepare assorted espresso drinks, sandwiches, salads, and other food items, and serve beer and wine. They operate the register and point-of-sale system, keep the café and kitchen clean, track inventory, assist with ordering, and restock items. Baristas also answer guest questions, including questions about Woodward Tahoe’s winter and summer programs, and provide high-quality service focused on product knowledge, quality, and freshness.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality service to internal and external guests, with particular focus on product knowledge, quality, and freshness.
- Prepare assorted espresso drinks.
- Make sandwiches, salads, and other food items.
- Serve beer and wine.
- Keep the kitchen clean, including appliances, floors, and sinks.
- Track product inventory and place orders with the kitchen.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and the register.
- Answer guest questions, including questions about Woodward Tahoe winter and summer programs.
- Restock café items.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
