About The Position

The Grind Line Operator transports recycled plastics by forklift to the beginning of the reprocessing line, fills boxes with processed material, and transports it for storage or distribution. The operator receives direction throughout the shift from the Plant Manager and reports directly to that role. The position requires flexibility to work 40 or more hours per week and weekends as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds to a height of 6 feet.
• Ability to stand and remain mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in temperature extremes.
• Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to handle and transport materials and finished goods.
• Full range of body motion, including twisting, bending, reaching, and squatting, and ability to mount and dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
• Ability to work 40 or more hours per week and weekends as required.

• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport recycled plastic to the beginning of the grind line for processing.
• Fill boxes with processed material and transport them to storage or prepare them for distribution.
• Maintain and develop job skills through company training programs.
• Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow PPE requirements and maintain a safe work record and environment.
• Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries to the Plant Manager.
• Assist with the preventive maintenance program as required.
• Operate forklifts properly and perform preventive maintenance on them.
• Maintain facility housekeeping.
