About The Position

Estelle's Cafe & Lounge is hiring an experienced Fry/Grill Cook. The role requires working independently while communicating effectively with the team and management, multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining a clean work environment. Estelle's is a neighborhood bar in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood that serves food and drinks nightly and hosts private parties. The venue is open from 6 p.m. until 4 a.m.

Requirements

• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen using a commercial fryer or grill.
• ServSafe certification, or willingness to become certified within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills with team members and management.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
