As a Grid Automation Customer Service & Repair Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the reliability and performance of critical power grid infrastructure. In this role, you will provide service, support, assessment, troubleshooting, and repair of Grid Automation products and solutions used in protection, control, automation, and communications applications. Working closely with customers and regional Grid Automation teams, you will investigate equipment issues, restore devices to operational condition, perform testing and calibration activities, and support product evaluations and demonstrations. You will apply your knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, diagnostics, and testing practices to identify faults and recommend corrective actions. In addition to supporting repair activities, you will help prepare and configure automation equipment used in substation and distribution automation applications.
