This position will be working with the Juvenile Court and requires grants writing experience. The Grant Services Administrator supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, developing and overseeing employee work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and control. They plan and implement the County’s annual Human Services grant cycle, which provides resources for victim assistance, youth development, child and family welfare, and senior services. This role involves developing statements of work, administering the grant selection process, and developing service contracts. The Administrator monitors programs on both macro and micro levels to ensure consistency with the consolidated plan, tracks expenditures, evaluates program design, performs risk assessments, and develops performance measures. They also serve as a liaison between the department and partnering agencies, providing technical assistance, resolving problems, and coordinating training. Additionally, this role identifies and initiates corrective action for customer service issues or compliance discrepancies, monitors sub-recipient eligibility and accounting records, and maintains program files and records. The Administrator assists the Director with department compliance oversight, coordinates the development of annual performance measures, interprets complex regulations, and develops/revises policies and procedures. They also monitor program budgets, prepare financial and program activity reports, and assist with long-term planning for Human Services program delivery.
