About The Position

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring Grant Reviewers on behalf of the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) for the Scholarships for Opportunity and Results (SOAR) Educator Pipeline grant competition. Reviewers provide independent subject matter expertise by reading, scoring, and commenting on competitive grant applications intended to strengthen the educator pipeline. Applications are submitted by local education agencies, schools, community-based organizations, and other eligible entities. Reviewer scores are used to recommend applications for funding, and OSSE may give preference to reviewers who satisfactorily completed reviews for its competitions in previous years. The assignment is remote, part-time, and performed as an independent contractor (1099). It is short-term and conducted per grant competition, with payment per successfully reviewed application. Reviewers generally receive two or more applications. Work is completed on the reviewer’s own schedule within the deadlines, using OSSE’s online Enterprise Grants Management System (EGMS). Orientation and EGMS training take place in a virtual webinar, typically within two weeks of the engagement start date. The review window is usually two weeks from assignment of applications. If panel scores differ significantly, reviewers may be asked to join a facilitated phone or video discussion, usually about three business days after the scoring deadline. Approximate completion of reviewer work is June 4, 2027; final dates are confirmed before orientation. Compensation is $150 per application successfully reviewed. Payment is made after OSSE verifies completion of all required training, orientation, timely and rigorous application reviews, and any required facilitated discussion and final rubric submissions. Dhaka Technologies Limited Company issues payment by direct deposit or check within 30 calendar days of OSSE verification. Failure to complete timely, high-quality reviews affects payment and disqualifies reviewers from future assignments.
