Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field such as business administration, accounting, finance, public administration, or a closely related area
  • 30 months of experience in fiscal management, grant administration, financial reporting, or account reconciliation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing or supporting grants, incentive programs, or publicly funded projects.
  • Strong skills in financial reconciliation, budget monitoring, and interpreting financial data.
  • Familiarity with public‑sector financial systems, procurement platforms, or vendor registration systems (e.g., state accounting systems, supplier onboarding platforms).
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholder groups such as local agencies, partner organizations, or program participants.
  • Ability to interpret and explain program requirements, compliance rules, and documentation standards.
  • Proficiency using spreadsheets, financial tracking tools, or database systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, service‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain grant accounts, track fund distributions, and ensure accurate financial documentation across multiple partner organizations.
  • Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of expenditures to ensure funds are properly used and reported.
  • Monitor grant budgets, identify unencumbered balances, and prepare financial summaries for management review.
  • Review fiscal reports submitted by external partners and reconcile them against internal records and payment systems.
  • Support program participants and partner agencies with onboarding, account setup, and required financial processes.
  • Provide guidance on grant requirements, compliance expectations, reporting timelines, and documentation standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between program leadership, fiscal staff, and other government entities to ensure aligned processes and timely issue resolution.
  • Track grant agreements, reporting deadlines, and program commitments to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records of agreements, approvals, budgets, and financial audits.
  • Compile financial and program data to inform budgeting decisions, cost analyses, and leadership reports.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and process updates to stay current on program changes, funding requirements, and system updates.
  • Assist with special projects aimed at improving program efficiency, financial accuracy, or partner support.
  • Travel as needed to support program operations and partner engagement.
